On January 22, Shandong Zhongjie successfully convened a kick-off meeting for electrode boiler equipment manufacturing with China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNPE), CNNC Zhejiang Energy Co., Ltd., and other involved parties. This marks the comprehensive launch of cooperation between Zhongjie Special Equipment and CNNC-affiliated units on supplying key equipment for two major national nuclear power projects.

The kick-off involves two key nuclear power projects under the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), both representing the forefront of China's nuclear energy development. Among them, the "LOT617A - Xuwu Nuclear Heating and Power Plant Project" is the first nuclear power unit to commence construction in the inaugural year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan. It is also the world's first large-scale coupling project integrating nuclear energy with the petrochemical industry. Upon completion, just the first phase is projected to supply 32.5 million tons of steam annually, generate over 11.5 billion kWh of electricity, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 19.6 million tons each year. The other project, "LOT617A - Jinqimen Nuclear Power Plant", represents another significant deployment of the "Hualong One" reactor, a "national namecard," along the Zhejiang coast. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 55 billion kWh of electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 45 million tons. It holds strategic importance for ensuring energy security and promoting green development in the Yangtze River Delta region. Being able to supply critical equipment for such major national projects, which represent the forefront of energy strategy and technology, profoundly demonstrates Zhongjie Special Equipment's comprehensive capabilities across the entire chain—from design and materials to manufacturing—in the high-end energy equipment sector. It also signifies the company's deep integration into the national clean energy strategic system.

During the meeting, project teams from both sides engaged in in-depth, efficient discussions and confirmations regarding technical specifications, quality plans, production schedules, and other key topics. According to project requirements, Zhongjie Special Equipment will supply two LDJ58.36-6.1 model electrode boilers for the Xuwu Nuclear Heating and Power Plant and two LDJ47.15-2.0 model electrode boilers for the Jinqimen Nuclear Power Plant, along with auxiliary key equipment such as deaerators and blowdown tanks. All equipment is scheduled for on-time delivery within 2026. Nuclear power equipment concerns the national economy and people's livelihood, with safety and reliability requirements far exceeding conventional industrial standards. Product design, manufacturing, and acceptance will strictly adhere to the highest current national standards. Zhongjie Special Equipment will implement rigorous whole-process control from design filing and material selection to manufacturing processes and final acceptance, ensuring every piece of equipment achieves "nuclear-grade" excellence and failsafe safety performance.

After the meeting, CNNC representatives visited the production lines of Zhongjie Special Equipment, conducting on-site inspections of various manufacturing workshops and process flows. They fully affirmed the company's large-scale manufacturing capacity, meticulous, and quality assurance system.
The successful convening of this kick-off meeting is not only a concentrated demonstration of Zhongjie Special Equipment's technical prowess and high-end manufacturing capabilities but also a crucial step in the company's service to major national strategies and deepened cooperation with extra-large backbone central state-owned enterprises. Adhering to its consistent principle of "Lean Manufacturing, Quality First," Zhongjie Special Equipment will go all out to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery. The company is committed to contributing its strength through concrete actions to the national nuclear power cause and energy structure transformation, working hand-in-hand with partners to propel China's high-end equipment manufacturing to new heights.
